Enlisted my Father once more, (his labour rate is cheap) as I have to work and investigation shows I have not wired the secondary cut off on the switch to the correct wire, so we then do the correct wire on the ignition switch last night and repair the wrongly spliced one. A quick test and we are done – thanks goodness it wasn’t too painful and I spot the binnacle surround needs screws back in so that’s done too.

Starting to get nervous, tickets arrived, plan arrived, garage allocated, testing booked – HANS posts on Helmet now.

A final service and check over tonight hopefully we’ll be ready but there’s bound to a be a surprise somewhere – this car has kicked and screamed thus far!
